In 2010, when owner Brijette Peña came to the stark conclusion that few companies were producing regionally adapted seeds for Southern California climates, she took an oath; to produce dependable organic, regionally adapted seeds for gardeners, farmers, and market growers.

Real Seeds has been producing seed for over twenty-five years now and we pride ourselves on our reputation for excellent seed quality.

We only send out really good seed; we are all gardeners! So we know the frustration that poor seed could cause.

We're a DEFRA-registered and Soil-Association-registered seed merchant: all our seed is grown, dried and stored professionally, and gets fantastic feedback from people.

Hancock Seed is dedicated to delivering the best seeds possible to our customers. Hancock Seed grows and harvests many of our products, and we acquire the majority of the rest from other family farmers. All these seeds are processed, packaged and shipped from Hancock Farm. This helps us ensure that our high standards are met. Unlike much of the competition, we refuse to sell you a seed that was not gathered during the last harvest. You will always receive fresh product from Hancock.
