Previously the New England Wild Flower Society, we are now the Native Plant Trust! We are the nation’s first plant conservation organization and the only one solely focused on New England’s native plants. We are based in Framingham, Massachusetts, at Garden in the Woods, a renowned native plant botanic garden that attracts visitors from all over the world. We also operate a native plant nursery at Nasami Farm in western Massachusetts and own six rare plant sanctuaries in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont that are open to the public year-round.

We are the breeders and selectors of the primrose path™ line of perennials. our interests have been primarily in heuchera, tiarella, and heucherella, but over the past two decades we have also introduced new varieties of primula, phlox, aster, sedum, and other genera into the trade
