We are a mail order nursery specializing in camellias as well as unusual trees and shrubs from Asia. Our roots run nearly 40 years deep. Specializing in mail-order Camellias, as well as Asian trees and shrubs, we've grown from a small, backyard operation in 1979 to a Chapel Hill institution, with several retail and wholesale locations across the North Carolina Piedmont.
As we have from the beginning, we strive to deliver healthy, garden-worthy plants to amateurs and enthusiasts alike. Still family owned and operated, we continue to study and experiment in an effort to develop exciting new cultivars while maintaining rare, antique, and traditional ones.
Today, our Chapel Hill location boasts a fully operational Tea Garden in addition to numerous greenhouses and display gardens.
